Led by an Alamo History Interpreter, this walking tour explores the heroes and events, including the Battle of the Alamo, that have made the story of the Alamo captivating for generations. The self-guided audio tour leads you through the Alamo Church, grounds, and includes 11 stops in the new Alamo Exhibit at the Ralston Family Collections Center where you can view the Phil Collins Collection and more! View the Phil Collins Collection, including the Battle of the Alamo Diorama featuring his narration, explore artifacts from the Donald and Louise Yena Spanish Colonial Collection, engage with interactive exhibits, and more!
Free admission for Friends of the Alamo members. This 45 minute, rich audio production truly brings the story of the Alamo to life. History like you've never seen it! Travel through time with Surrounded! Through the use of a handheld tablet, engage with the history of the Alamo through six experiential portals. Experience the iconic Alamo Church. Established as a mission, it later became a military stronghold for Texas Independence.
Entering Alamo Church is always free. To help preserve the historic site, visitors will need to reserve their free ticket to enter the Church ahead of their visit. What would it have been like to be present at the Alamo during the siege leading up to the battle? In this special, after-hours theatrical event you will witness the events and conversations that took place the evening before the final attack. The headliner will be announced soon!
