MSC's ties with the city of Valencia go back 40 years, when it first began operating in Spain. Now, through its support of the Valencia Ciudad del Running races, the company reaffirms its commitment to the city, which is the site of its main hub port in the Mediterranean. From MSC we have seen our team train very hard to achieve the same goal with passion, commitment and dedication: to finish the races of the Valencia Half Marathon on 23 October and the Valencia Marathon on 4 December, not forgetting our young runners who gave their all in the MSC Valencia Mini Marathon on 3 December. It was heartwarming to see the MSC family come together, both in the participation of the MSC Running Team runners, and their families and friends supporting them from our Cheer Point, with the magnificent batucada group formed by our employees, providing a formidable soundtrack to the races.
Many of the the children of MSC employees ran the mini-marathon and proudly sported the company's running team t-shirts. This sponsorship has brought out the best in us reaffirming our long-standing commitment to the city of Valencia, to sport and to our values.
