A Palm Harbor man has been arrested on charges that he used his computer to entice a Citrus County girl into an illegal sexual liaison. Based on that contact, prosecutors have alleged, Bernhardt and the girl had two sexual encounters in Citrus County. Bill Catto, an assistant state attorney who supervises the prosecutor's office in Citrus, said he wasn't certain if the girl lives in Citrus. Neither her age nor details about their encounters were available Friday. Bernhardt was picked up on a Citrus arrest warrant Friday morning and charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious battery on a child under 16 and one count of computer pornography, a felony that bans anyone from using a computer to commit a sex crime against a child.
