Patricia Vriesendorp and Dr. We started C2 in order to address the need for English-speaking support services in Switzerland. We are now a diverse group of independent mental health and body work practitioners who operate under the umbrella of C2.
We hope to empower non-native residents by providing a platform for them to connect and find support in English. We also work to support English-speaking mental health professionals, who can also suffer from isolation that ultimately affects the care that they can offer their clients.
We provide training for other english-speaking therapists and counselors to help expand available services in Switzerland. We also encourage collaborations with Swiss mental health professsionals to help integrate care. Having more support lays the groundwork for better mental healthcare and a sense of belonging that improves the quality of life for non-native Swiss residents. Please bear in mind that each practitioner at C2 is responsible for their own practice and holds their own liability insurance.
We each abide by the ethics of our individual professional regulatory organizations for example, Federation of Swiss Psychologists and have signed the C2 Charta that further outlines expectations around professional practice.
