Gale is best bomb boy. Astarion is best vamp. DuneMan 4 years ago I like Gale. That whole 'thing' that happens when he dies cemented it. Of course he seems like the typical 'good guy', so people that want more of an evil bend to their EA playthrough might not gain much approval from him.

So now his corps just sits there with necrotic aura around it right between Shadowheart and Astarion's spot so I can't take a break at camp at all unless I keep both of them occupied talking to NPCs.
ZechtAurion posted I've done it multiple times. Because of a bug that stopped me talking to members of my party, I had to kill and revive all three to get rid of the flesh rot debuff. You should be able to use a scroll on Gale to bypass the strange requirements to revive him otherwise. Failing that, the undead that joins your camp after clearing the ancient tomb can revive companions for gold per companion.
I tried it all, he's not listed with the undead and when I hover on him with a scroll it says it's not the right target. Usually with the scrolls the game auto-targets the corpse and you're meant to target flat, empty ground for where you want the person to revive. Did you rest twice after Gale died? I've never waited but I know the illusion is very specific about reviving him within two days.
