Cool segment, thanks for sharing. I do agree with the OP though. This is hard-core messing with these players who thought that they were getting cut and that their dreams of playing in the NFL or continuing to do so were going to be squashed. But the team got some cool videos out of this stunt to improve their "social engagement" and isn't that the most important thing?

There is zero wrong with that. Playing with their emotions? You think these guys didn't know they were on the bubble? You think they wouldn't have brought them in to congratulate them anyway? This is a great moment for these guys, and it shows them that their hard work was acknowledged and validated at the very top. Good stuff. I don't see anything here as playing with their emotions.
