At Sanar, we believe healing is a human right. Through our Wellness Center in Newark, NJ, Sanar provides trauma-specific therapeutic healing services at no cost to survivors of sex trafficking, labor trafficking, sexual violence, domestic and family violence, image-based abuse, and other types of interpersonal violence. Sanar has worked throughout the United States, East Asia, Latin America, and West Africa as a leader in the provision of customized training and technical assistance.
Sanar prioritizes trauma-informed and person- centered approaches for organizations and institutions working with individuals, families, and communities that have experienced or are vulnerable to interpersonal violence. All individuals and communities have access to therapeutic wellness services that foster resilience, inspire hope and support each person in building their own definition of success.
