Geotechnical and civil engineering diagnostics for quayside equipment as part of a policy to rehabilitate the port infrastructure at the Brest defence infrastructure facility ESID de Brest.
The aim of the survey campaign is to improve our knowledge of the structures and their surroundings, as well as the nature and characteristics of the subsoil in front of the quays and the pier head, by analysing the structural files, synthesising all the available data in order to adapt the investigation programme, pyrotechnical diagnostics, detailed underwater inspections of the quays and geotechnical investigations of the quays and the pier head.
Geotechnical investigations were carried out on land and on a self-elevating platform. The mission consists of carrying out on-site investigations to identify any structural defects and analyse the causes of pathologies.
