The Community Table serves hot meals days each year to those in Eau Claire needing food and hospitality. We rely completely on volunteer teams from the community to prepare and serve the hungry. Hats are encouraged, but not required. How many people are needed to form a team? We need 6 - 12 volunteers to prepare, serve, and clean up from a meal. If your team will be smaller, we can recruit additional individual volunteers. If you have more than 12 volunteers, we can break the day into shifts or plan additional projects such as deep cleaning or completing a mailing. The time commitment is 4 - 5 hours and can be broken up into 2 -3 hour shifts. Can youth groups participate?
The Community Table welcomes youth volunteers! We ask that youth groups provide adequate adult supervision 1 adult to every 5 youth volunteers.
