A few highlights from day 1 of the 2 day event. There has been a few requests to order extra bibs from this years event. So we are giving you the oppotunity to order extra until the 20th Feb. Just 5 km into the first 55km cycle stage, Walsh found himself tangled with a temporary traffic light, sending him on a wild ride that included a crash, a snapped derailleur, and a surprising rescue from a campervan couple armed with a fold-out bike.

Congratulations to Emily Trevail left on taking out the Women's Two Day Individual title followed closely by her training partner Courtney Hawke in 2nd place right. Trailing closely in third was under elite Alexis Migounoff with a time of The first woman to Klondyke, coming in strong, was Emily Trevail, clocking in at , giving herself a good time buffer going into day 2 over Courtney Hawke , who arrived second at Klondyke Corner, only to find Louise Darwin was hot on her heels, trailing by 5 minutes Excited to see what day 2 will bring for the 2-day athletes, but also, the start of the Longest Day kicks off at 6 am!
