The Adult Day Services Center ADSC is a cost effective program designed to offer services to seniors 55 years and older who may need assistance and who may not want or cannot stay at home alone during the day.
Despite the individual challenges seniors face, we encourage each person to be as independent as possible. Furthermore, the Center provides caregivers a needed break and the comfort of knowing that their loved one will be spending the day with new friends and activities. Transportation is available. Activity staff consist of three full-time staff and one activity director.
A registered nurse is available on site to monitor participants' medical needs. Fees are on a sliding scale based on income. There is usually not a waiting list for this program. Persons with dementia such as Alzheimer's Disease are appropriate for the program if they can interact socially. ADSC staff assess applicants individually to assure that they can participate successfully in the program. Our program provides a wide variety of activities designed to meet the needs, abilities and interests of each participant.
Activity staff consist of three full-time therapeutic recreational leaders, one full-time therapeutic recreational specialist and a host of volunteers.
We work as a team to develop an individualized program plan for each person entering the program. We take pride in providing the highest level of care and quality programs that promote empowerment, education and fun!
