Since , behavioral health assessment, inpatient and outpatient treatment programs for chemical dependency and psychiatric conditions have been provided to Piedmont Triad communities at High Point Medical Center. The center offers a confidential assessment for psychiatric or chemical dependency conditions 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
This confidential, community service serves as a gateway to appropriate patient care. Masters level clinicians provide clinical assessments to determine the appropriate treatment for the patient's identified needs.
Outpatient services are provided at Behavioral Health - Emerywood. These include: psychiatric evaluation, medication management and individual therapy services.
We also have many chemical dependency services including an inpatient program which offers hour treatment for detoxification and crisis stabilization along with individual and group counseling programs based on each individual's need. Individuals referred to our behavioral health services can count on experienced clinical staff to design flexible, cost-effective treatment plans to meet their personal needs. A prompt, thorough diagnosis ensures patients get an early start on the work they need to do in the most appropriate, least restrictive setting.
And, at each step of treatment, our staff coordinates each patient's care with the referring professionals, family, employers, insurers, or managed care companies -- allowing patients to concentrate on one thing -- getting better.
