Spa Illuminata, which opened last month, is the brainchild of Lieber and his wife Margo. A three-level facility, it includes a beauty boutique, nine treatment rooms, a serail therapeutic steamroom, a crystal salt purifying steamroom, a relaxation sound therapy room, a dedicated men's treatment area, and a private exercise room.
Each treatment room contains a specially commissioned painting. Ranging from one to four hours, each treatment includes a four-hand massage using warm aromatherapy balms.
Other services on offer include classes in yoga, do-in and tai chi, monthly educational talks, and consultations, lessons or makeovers with the spa's resident make-up artist.
