Finding a place to have your natural hair done can be more difficult than it should be. Most salons cater to Caucasian hair. Sadly, many of the black owned and operated salons are uncomfortable with and unfamiliar with natural African American hair care catering to relaxed hair.
We have compiled a list of salons that are familiar with or even specialize in natural black hair care. This list has been compiled from submissions by salon owners and customers. We do not endorse or vouch for the salons on the list. However, if we find out a salon listed does not do a good job with natural black hair care, we will remove the salon.
