Hunter isn't a jerk about his ways, he's just been building his career and focusing elsewhere, trying to be honest about what he can offer with his time and energy.
Sophie Griffin's younger sister from Unexpectedly Mine is a recent college graduate starting an internship in a new city who runs into the one night stand she thought she left in Vegas. I like smut as much as the next person, but this book was a bit heavy on spice and low on plot for my usual preference. Still a cute novel, but not my favorite in the series by any means.
Merged review: very smutty. Hunter is a reformed playboy who wants to have a no strings attached relationship. This is perfect for Sophie. Except things change. Life is unpredictable and they see this happening in their relationship.
Merged review: This book was cute, but I felt there was just a lot of unnecessary things happening. I started with the previous book in this series, Unexpectedly Mine. And so we get to the next book, Accidentally Ours, which is now the story of Sophie, Griffin's younger sister.
Sophie moves to NYC from Las Vegas to start her dream internship at prestigious wedding planning agency. This is her move towards adulthood. After an absent father and the death of her mother at a young age, Sophie was basically raised by Griffin. And as she's enjoying the first day of her new internship, she's slapped with the reality of her last one-night stand before leaving Las Vegas.
