I said no, by the way. She smiled then, but not knowing why Rachel would even consider asking Sam to prom. Sam sighed, taking a deep breath and frowning. We can look after the kids together? He shook his head at her, not wanting to let her miss out on things because of him. But I totally understand you, if you don't want to go, it's cool. I just like spending time with you. Sam was quietly talking to Quinn and Charlotte before glee club, since they were the two people he really trusted at this point.
That being said, Finn was blinded by anger when he stormed into the choir room, clutching onto a very creased up Muckraker and shoving it forcefully into Sam's face. Sam glanced at Charlotte nervously before taking a step forward to see the paper for himself. Quinn stood up to try and calm the situation.
Quickly coming to Sam's defence and standing beside him, Charlotte yelled "Because its gossip Finn! He's leading you on! Storming into the room, Santana started yelling at Brittany over something she'd talked about on Fondue for two. Charlotte couldn't focus on them right now, so turned back to Sam, putting her hand in his "It's okay" she softly said to him.
It's not okay! He doesn't even care about your feelings! Whilst the two boys got increasingly aggressive, Quinn and Charlotte tried to break them up or calm them down, all while everyone was getting too wrapped up in other drama to help. That was until Mr Schue decided he should step in, putting a hand on each boys chest, sending them each a stern warning look.
Finn huffed, throwing his hands in the air before angrily storming to the door. With a sigh, Charlotte took Sam's hand and sat down with him as he ran his free hand through his hair. She picked up the Muckraker, screwed it up into a ball and threw it into the bin. Granted, she missed the bin by a long shot, but she kept her serious demeanour instead of laughing at her terrible aim. Standing with Kurt at his locker, Charlotte admired the picture of Blaine, zoning out of the conversation she was having with Kurt.
