Chepstow was certainly busy, well in the owners and trainers lunch area.. Huddled together to keep warm? Heros De Romay was running a mighty race until the only mistake he made during the race came at the first in the home straight. A crunching one that Ciaran Gethings felt was a game changer. He finished 4th. Phantom Getaway also finished 4th, not sure how much effort he put in for the last 4 furlongs..
Tiring ground. It was certainly tiring ground at Exeter and poor Does He Know hated it.. Tough on the old boy, especially carrying 12 stone. The only prizes we won yesterday were a best turned out with Hero's De Romay well done Alwena and then Leigh Pollard , our Travelling head person picked up a prize at Exeter for winning more best turned out prizes than any other stable at Exeter during January.
A great initiative from Exeter Racecourse. A nice man came up to me at Chepstow and said.. What an extraordinary game of rugby.. England beat France.. Because the French were so overconfident that they could not see defeat.. Scotland beaten by Ireland Wales were beaten by Italy. He said yes but only just.

Sadly, after sending over his CV and photos he was deemed too big!.. So annoying as his fee would have helped towards his many vet bills!!..
Dyson have missed out on this excellent hound and his performing abilities. When a human cannonball died the circus ringmaster advertised for a replacement and after a month of no applicants the circus owner asked the ringmaster why had he not been able to find a replacement and the ringmaster replied " They dont make people of that calibre any more". Plus 2 and dry when driving in.
