San Rafael currently offers weekly and storytimes. The San Rafael Branch Library is a small branch circulating approximately 39, library items per year. The collection consists of adult and juvenile materials, featuring popular fiction and non-fiction, magazines, encyclopedias and a reference collection.
Strengths of the collection are art, travel, historical homes, biographies and bestsellers. The meeting room will accommodate up to 33 people. This room is free to groups who do not charge an admission fee or restrict admission on the basis of membership.
Local residents enjoy using the branch resources for recreational reading, student homework assistance and answering reference questions. Community meetings and election voting are held in the branch meeting room. The San Rafael Associates support programs and activities at the branch, through local participation and fundraising.
