A woman reported receiving a threatening text message from Claiborne before he reportedly showed up at her Crutcher Street home, yelled from outside and fired a gun at her door and window. Both she and a juvenile were home at the time of the incident.
Detectives found Claiborne at a Dabbs Avenue home where he tried to flee from a traffic stop. Additionally, authorities recovered a handgun from his path.
