Sadly yes I do, someone I knew about 20 years ago. Went wrong, had an infection. I felt for her as if my understanding of her circumstances was broadly correct, it was not easy for her to find the money. Personal opinion was that there was nothing to be unhappy about with her figure beforehand, not that I was in her shoes of course.
Out of respect for her privacy have never discussed it with her or anyone else. Oh no that sounds horrible. I admit there is no medical reason for wanting this surgery. Its just to make me feel better. There's currently one in the papers where the woman is complaint that they exploded when she got back to Uk. My friend has hers done a couple of years ago, she was very happy with the results and said she got attentive care whilst staying out there.
I have read other less positive stories but my friend is the only one I know personally to do it and she was pleased with the outcome. She developed an infection and lost a large some gangrenous breast tissue. Log in to update your newsletter preferences.
Someone in my family went to Turkey for a different operation. They died. I really would not go there. My friend had the 'mommy make over' and looks amazing! She said they were fantastic and had no issues. I would read up very carefully about aftercare and lifetime replacements- regardless of where you have it done. My understanding is that if its implants you want- they need to be re-done every 10yrs or so- even the ones done in the UK. You therefore need to ensure you have the life long funds to support this ongoing requirement.
Obviously- a clinic, especially an overseas one, likely won't mention this, so please do your own research on this. I'm off to Turkey next week for a different surgery. It's one of the top destinations in the world for medical tourism, so feeling pretty confident in the choice.
