The Rapid Rehousing Program works in conjunction with the Financial Crisis Response Team to connect students experiencing housing insecurity to housing resources. To be eligible for these programs, students must demonstrate financial need and be enrolled at UCSB at least half-time.

Showers of Blessings is a service that provides free hot showers and hygienic care for those experiencing houselessness. The program provides a shower trailer that will be at designated spots every week. Every guest receives a freshly washed towel, washcloth, new pair of socks, a new pair of underwear, and hygienic product upon arrival.
They have limited emergency clothing for those who come first and there are limited showers available at St. Anthanasius Orthodox Church. This is a service for anyone who may be experiencing houselesness or temporary housing. This is a way of caring for people who are struggling financially by helping them in laundering their own clothes and belongings. This program is meant to serv people living on the streets, vehicles, or in shelters, not the public at large.
These are drop in events therefore no appointment is required. Volunteers will provide the money and supplies for washing clothes and the limit is 2 loads. This is a service provided by New Beginnings Safe Parking Shelter and the Rapid Rehousing Program that provides safe overnight parking to individuals and families living in their vehicles.
There are currently spaces in 26 different parking lots around Goleta, Santa Barbara, and neighboring areas in the county. The purpose of this program is to connect the chronically homeless to safe shelters and environments in order to get them in safer environments. Food is distributed in this service, rapid rehousing services are offered along with other housing assistance services.
