Would Friday the 13th be a disaster for us? The usual AM drill, breakfast at Le Bonaparte- back to my yogurt and tartine. On to the St Germain des Pres Metro station.
We had never been to Canal St Martin, and the weather was looking good. There are quite a number tent communities with homeless citizens and more on some the park benches. No one bothers you and seeing these people always makes me feel a little sad. There is also some interesting graffiti art on many of the buildings that I like. Kinda fun to see and not something we have in Atlanta. I love the markets in Paris. Everything is so beautiful and wonderfully fresh.
I could spend hours browsing at all the tasty items available. We did a lot of gawking at all the cheeses, flowers and produce.
They have everything here. We were thinking lunch at the market would be the thing. But we wanted to do at least a lap around the entire market before making any decisions on purchases.
