After 55 years of celebrating the west Michigan community, Festival of the Arts Festival is sunsetting and ceasing operations effective immediately. The goal of Festival was to highlight all the arts in our area and provide access to everyone by making all performances and activities free. Festival brought people together from all over, celebrating a vibrant and growing art community and a great patron of the arts, the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Since then, downtown Grand Rapids has seen tremendous growth, and our community continues to expand the ways in which it celebrates the arts.
Festival sunsets to new horizons being created each year in Grand Rapids. Western Michigan artists, performers, food vendors, sponsors, and hundreds of volunteers are hard at work planning for Festival New performance stages, cultural food booths, visual art exhibits and activities, and artisan craftsmen.
Applications for Performance, Food vendors, Regional Arts artists, and Artisian Village vendors will all be open soon. For over 50 years, Festival of the Arts has been a community for a core of dedicated volunteer. Have an idea for the Festival poster? All artists 16 and over are welcome to participate. Click on the. It provides artists with a platform to practice and showcase their craft, but also fosters a sense of unity within our community. This vibrant event allows us to witness the city through the diverse perspectives of talented individuals, offering a fresh and unique lens to appreciate our surroundings. Muse is an interactive art gallery and event space located in Grand Rapids, MI. It is a collaborative space for creatives to execute projects, host events, facilitate workshops, and more.
