Under current federal regulations, small and medium-sized cities are not permitted to administer vaccination programs directly. Oakland County is the responsible authority for administering vaccinations that are not otherwise authorized by the State of Michigan within the City of Southfield.
While the City of Southfield remains an active partner with Oakland County and other healthcare providers, the City is not directly providing vaccinations.
