Statewide program that provides survivors of stalking, sexual assault, and domestic violence with a legal substitute address and mail forwarding. ACP services are intended to enhance a comprehensive safety plan and contribute to increased survivor safety. The Advocates of Lake County assists survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and any kind of violent crime.
All Advocates services are free and confidential, and we provide an accepting atmosphere. People of all genders, persuasions, and socioeconomic backgrounds are welcome, including LBGTQ and Spanish-speaking clients.
We also serve as a single point of contact for persons seeking survivor support services in Southern Colorado Pueblo, Huerfano and Las Animas Counties. Offers free and confidential services, a hour hotline staffed by volunteers, bilingual weekly support groups for women and children, court advocacy in criminal court, legal assistance for divorce and child-custody cases through our Bridges of Hope legal project, and education and outreach to the community as well.
Alternatives to Violence provides shelter, advocacy, education and resources for people impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. Angel Flight West delivers health and hope using donated flights to serve those with healthcare or other compelling human needs. In the air, Angel Flight West links volunteer pilots and commercial airlines with people whose non-emergency health needs require long-distance travel to access care.
