According to release, law enforcement became aware that multiple individuals with active warrants were residing in the home during an investigation into drug abuse. When units arrived at the residence, an individual attempted to obstruct the investigation. The release states that authorities observed drug paraphernalia upon detaining the residents inside; an additional search warrant was then obtained.
Jimmy D. McDonald Jr. Jayd M. Izick N. McDonald, 19, of Nelsonville, was charged with two counts of Obstructing Justice. All individuals are being held at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail. According to release, the units also located a juvenile inside the residence with an active warrant. The juvenile was transported to a detention facility.
