They sound like the best solution for the studio I am building, but I don't want something that will be slippery when wet. I have cats, and laminate has been great with the cats who can be a problem when old and sick that's why I don't want wood; the laminate has been indestructible.
But the laminate has been very slippery when mopped. Also, the studio will have a bathroom, and as I get older I get even more concerned about safety. I would prefer smooth planks, not the kind with a lot of texture, which would be harder to clean. Of course I know that more texture would be less slippery, so there's that trade-off. Test them at the store Look at the slip resistance rating of the flooring. If they don't give one, skip that tile, because if it was good, they'd be bragging.
