By elevating the hotel on stilts, a connection to the site's ancient history was established—a nod to the discovery of ancient stilt-supported houses in the area, the oldest of their kind in Switzerland. Comprising 38 individual pavilions, each boasting its own private terrace and scenic views of either the lake or the shore, the hotel offers a sense of seclusion and intimacy that enhances the overall experience.
At the helm of the hotel's culinary offerings is Maxime Pot, an accomplished and passionate chef who has led the brigade of La Table du Palafitte for the past six years.
With training from culinary luminaries such as Anne-Sophie Pic and Benoit Viollier, Chef Pot infuses his dishes with a modern flair while honoring the rich traditions of local ingredients and culinary craftsmanship.
