Several hundred members of law enforcement and the community joined the family of Navasota Police Sgt. Mark Butler at Central Church in College Station on Friday to remember the life of the man who died in the line of duty when he stopped an escaping fugitive driving southbound in the northbound lanes of Texas 6.
