All our instructors are fully qualified not in-training with US Sailing. No exceptions. KSC gives you the most training hours per class. We teach the full syllabus, missing nothing out and adding a few extras. We work with our students to help them not just walk away with a piece of paper but ensure they can actually sail the boat.
This includes docking, close quarters maneuvering and even sailing on and off a dock. We teach the US Sailing curriculum for many reasons. It works with World Sailing to develop international sailing and the Olympics. It also has learning paths for both cruising, racing and powerboating- giving you many growth options. Designed to get non-sailors started and those returning to sailing a refresher. Graduates are certified to sail tiller-steered vessels up to 27 feet.
This highly comprehensive class gives you everything you need to join KSC and sail our boats as skipper. We may be able to schedule another class for you. A great option if you find it difficult to take three full days as part of a group class. This private class can accommodate students. Pre-class online learning by NauticEd is included followed by two 4-hour practical sailing lessons for a single student and three four-hour lessons for two students.
