Log in to checkout faster. Terry will teach you how to use a table saw safely and accurately. Each student will have the opportunity to practice many table saw operations including cross cutting, ripping and taper cuts. The student will also make a basic crosscut sled.
Terry will go over how to install the sliders so their sled will make accurate crosscuts. Closed-toe shoes required. With Intro to Woodworking I, the student will learn the basic aspects, safety measures and uses of power tools and furniture assembly procedures. You will complete a small wall hanging cabinet. You will gain hands-on experience with basic joinery' how to "4 square" a board as well as hardware installation by the end of the last session. All materials will be supplied.
Prerequisite: At least 14 years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult guardian.
