A few weeks before the coronavirus pandemic pushed government officials to begin taking measures to restrict business operations, we started hearing rumors about a new gentlemen's club opening this year. Then, COVID caused disaster declarations to be executed which essentially took over the news cycle and hushed any other chatter about the status of a new adult entertainment venue opening.
This week, a new billboard appeared, confirming the rumors are true and the location of Angelwitch Cabaret, which will be Lubbock's newest gentlemen's club. That is, when restrictions preventing businesses like strip clubs from operating percent are finally lifted.
We spoke to sources who say that the club is nearly ready to open, but won't be hiring for full-time positions just yet. If you're interested in the new club or when they'll be hiring, follow them on Facebook.
Coronavirus may have created some tough times for us, but at least there are good times ahead to look forward to enjoying once it all simmers down and Angelwitch Cabaret can heat things up around here.
