The resort had lovely staff, who were friendly and eager to help. We especially enjoyed the team working in the buffet. The island is small enough to walk around in 10 minutes.
We love to snorkel so we snorkeled around the island every day, for exercise as well as the incredible underwater sea life. The snorkeling is very good and we saw lots of sea life, including colorful fish, a few sharks here and there, turtles and stingrays. We snorkeled around the edge of the reef and along the drop off, which is where the fish are. Parts of the reef are closer to shore than others which are a ways away. We loved Angasa Ihuru a few years ago and the snorkeling here was similar to that island.
The sand is powdery and white. The beach area around the island is stunning. We preferred the units from to as these had the best unobstructed views of the water. They were in the middle of the bungalows. One-twenty-five has the best views but they are all good. Units numbered above are on the windier side and set back in the trees. Units numbered below are on the calm water area but also set back more in the trees.
There is an amazing sunset bar out at the end of the water villas that is wonderful for lounging in the evening before dinner. The food is good and filling, with a nice variety.
It is all buffet. The rooms are very nice, with extra seating and a large bathroom. The bed was comfortable and we slept well.
