This agency sent a rep to the rehab center my dad was at for a meeting on the 8th of july with my mom and I for care as my dad was being released home on the 13th.. After discussing our concerns we set up schedules for care and told everything would be good and a lady lived in Burbank who could handle everything.
This agency never showed up on their 1st or 2nd day to report 11 days later or called and when I called was told we decided not to pick your dad up as a client and we called the center he used to be at to tell them. Why did you not call the customer directly instead of leaving them in the dark Not a good 1st impression.
It is a little tough sometimes. As far as the caregivers who they provide, she is comfortable with them. They help her with her shower and remind her to take her medication. They need to improve on their communication. We just love Family Home Care. Everybody they sent was great. We have no complaints and we were thrilled to have them. We could not have made it through the last six or seven months. So it was great that we were able to get my dad ready to eat food again instead of just being tube fed, and he was able to go into assisted living instead of having to go to a nursing care.
