Duncan is a veteran camper in Total Drama. He qualified for Total Drama Action and was also a finalist for that season, where he was a member of the Screaming Gaffers. He was one of the seven contestants from the original cast that were brought back to compete on Total Drama All-Stars , and he was initially placed on the Villainous Vultures but was later switched to the Heroic Hamsters.
He will return to compete for a final time in Total Drama Reunion , being placed on the Perilous Parrots. Although Duncan has largely moved on from his delinquent lifestyle, he is still the troublemaker we know and love.
Fifteen years after Total Drama Island , Duncan lives a simple life as the owner of a small vehicle repair shop in Ontario as the single father of three kids: Kathleen and Brad, who are fraternal twins and are fourteen years old, and Isaac, who is three years old. His girlfriend, Marianne, died in a car crash, leaving him inconsolable.
Duncan's new, comfortable life is up-ended, however, after Total Drama is renewed for one final season. Duncan agrees to join the cast of returning players to pay off a few debts, completely unaware of the last-minute inclusion of his old rival-turned-lover, Courtney.
Although Courtney is less than thrilled to be reunited with him, Duncan sees an opportunity to repair the fire of their romance and give his kids a motherly figure.
