You're viewing the schedule for Chicago Over the air Shirley becomes reclusive and refuses to date after learning that Carmine has a new girlfriend, which drives Laverne crazy. Eager to help her friend back into singing a happy song, Laverne plans an evening out-only to have the two girls wind up in a barroom scuffle.
Of course, Carmine comes around in the end, assuring his Angel Face that she can always think of him as her "big brother". Uh Oh! Just when Laverne and Shirley thought they'd have some peace and quiet, look who moves into the building! Lenny and Squiggy are about to be second floor neighbors. Poor Laverne has an embarrassing secret one of the many -that she can't drive and never learned how!
Shirley is ready and willing to give her driving lessons-and Shirley assures her its a cinch. While working, new boyfriend Jerry Callahan has to check in for an operation. The girls get mixed up in many crazy things as they try their newbie hand at being nurses! Since the girls have no dates that night, they agree to babysit Fonzie's godson.
When they get a call for a big date only one of them can go, the other has to stay home and watch the baby. Laverne gets to go but when the date gets cancelled, Shirley has to stop Laverne from getting on a bus and going to Chicago to meet her date. Shirley asks Lenny and Squiggy to watch the baby while she goes to get Laverne. When the girls return to the apartment they find Lenny and Squiggy there but the baby is gone.
Lenny and Squiggy gave it back to a guy who claimed to be it's father, the girls go berserk thinking all manners of horrible things has happened only to find out in the end it was indeed the father that they gave the baby to.
