We pride ourselves on being a venue for some of the best Irish musical talent out there. Having won the Irish Music Pub of the year award every year from to , we understand what needs to be done. See some of what is on offer here. We stopped in because the outside of the building was decorated amazingly for Christmas, and we wanted a warm drink. The inside was also decorated well, the service was excellent, and the food and drinks were great. We ordered the cheese board and a hot chocolate with a shot of Bailey's Irish Cream.
The cheese board came with 5 types of cheese, grapes, apples, nuts, crackers, and bread. It was also served with honey and another tomato-based sauce. It was the perfect midday snack. The service was quick, and the live music was entertaining.
This is one of my new favorite places. The quintessential Dublin experience! The atmosphere here is incredible with fabulous live music and delicious food. Probably one of the most known pubs in Dublin or at least tourist attraction at lest based on recommendations , and probably one of the most Christmas decorations, for some maybe to much, for some like me juat right. Because of that it's probably also one of the most busiest, lots of people taking pictures outside best time is earlier in the day, if you want to take a picture with less or at some points even no people around the pub.
