Witte said he found two women resting behind his dumpster last week and a pregnant woman working as a prostitute. It's been a problem on Glenway Ave.
Witte said that he sees the most activity early in the morning and late in the afternoon when they're driving to and from work.
Cincinnati Police have had vice officers working in the area since the complaints started. Maurice Robinson, head of the Special Investigations Section. Robinson said his officers started surveillance last week. So far, three women have been charged with prostitution, a man was charged with solicitation and loitering and another had outstanding warrants.
A woman was referred to the Change Court which helps prostitutes who are drug addicts. Robinson said. Robinson said there have also been complaints about prostitution in other neighborhoods. Witte said he wants to ensure the johns are held accountable, too. They're creeps," Witte said. The Off the Streets program helps women who are working as prostitutes who want to start a new life.
